I teach weekly yoga & meditation classes, courses ranging from 4 weeks to 9 months, and also love working with individuals one on one to develop a personalized practice or wellness support that suits one’s needs and lifestyle.

    This multifaceted program is designed for practitioners and teachers of yoga wanting to deepen their knowledge of yoga’s philosophical roots and how to apply its wisdom experientially into our lives through practice. Evolving Our Yoga Studies Program was developed by in 2013, designed for those who practice yoga and are looking for an immersive course experience outside of a traditional teacher training, or continuing education for those who are teachers. We focus on the “why” behind certain practices, de-center the emphasis on only postural yoga, and invite study of the subtle practices to weave yoga’s essence into our modern lifestyle, welcoming its fullest potential in our lives. Currently EYS is divided into three tiers, or immersive courses.

  • Evolving Our Yoga Studies Program

    The Sun Tier ~ Surya Sadhana

    The Study of PRANA, the Subtle Body, Effective Energy Management

    For this in depth series we emphasize the “Ha” side of hatha yoga (ha means sun). We study PRANA- loosely translated as “life force”- and why it supports sustained health in addition to being a primary pathway of Tantric Yoga to harness inner connection and outer fulfillment. We look to the wisdom of Tantra and Ayurveda to develop a relationship with this subtle energy and how to effectively cultivate and contain our vital resources to support physical health, mental clarity, emotional  resilience, and nourishment of our whole system including our relationship with our breath. We honor our place in the web of life, and develop greater appreciation for the earth, the rhythms of nature, and how to be in harmonious relationship with these forces.  The course consists of weekly Thursday classes from 6-8pm that incorporate relevant content and yogic practices, monthly Saturday intensives from 1-5pm to engage lecture, group discussion, and a full spectrum practice, supplemental audio and video recordings to support your learning, and a one on one session for guidance according to current life circumstances and how to best move forward with the information that makes best sense for you. You will walk away with tools and resources that last far beyond the course.   • 3 Week Virtual Self Love Series

    For this mini series we will center and explore the practice of self love. What does self love really mean, and how do we incorporate it in a true and lasting way? Self love does not mean inflating an unrealistic propping  of our ego self to close off from others, it is much deeper and more vulnerable than that. Can you accept all of yourself- even the parts you’d prefer to not embody? How do we truly love all parts of ourselves and not abandon ourselves when things get hard? Embodying and living from a place of self love is transformative, and a practice that reveals more about ourselves with time. Let’s explore this topic and bring it in as a practice for 2024. Each class will feature discussion, self inquiry, and contemplative practices of meditation and/or yoga nidra. There will be some movement, but just enough to get us into our bodies for the more subtle practices.  Note that if you pay with the CC/Debit link below, you can change the suggested amount.
