I teach regular yoga & meditation classes, courses ranging from 8 weeks to 9 months, and also love working with individuals one on one to help develop a supportive home practice that suits one’s needs and lifestyle.
What do clients “go home with” after working with me? I offer tools to foster overall wellness that range from physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual support. I help individuals feel empowered, nurtured, and connected to themselves — their own bodies, minds, and hearts — and in their relationships.

Parayoga© synthesizes the rich heart of yoga with the pulse of the present day. These classes incorporate a wide palette of practices to deliver a meaningful experience. Classes may include asana, pranayama, bandhas, mudras, intention, and meditation. We honor the enlivening aspects of flow, moving in and out of postures with awareness on the breath, with the transformative capacity of holdings, remaining in one posture for many breath cycles, to experience the full gamut of this intricate and ancient science.
How would this differ from other flow classes? The most notable distinction is the sequence of asana, or postures, is practiced at a slightly slower pace to cultivate sensitivity to the subtle, so that we can feel our own energy and sense how the practice is shifting it. Grounded in intelligent sequencing, each class crafts the progression of postures and breath work to usher the student towards a specific experience. One class may deliver a sense of grounding and steadiness, another upliftment and aspiration, or a class may be more specific, such as opening the shoulders or supporting healthy digestion.

Advanced Yoga Studies is an in depth, rich, and comprehensive course designed for those who crave more knowledge about yoga’s vast system and apply it practically into modern life. We explore yoga’s timeless philosophical background and the techniques that allow one to experience those teachings, welcoming its fullest potential in our lives. In this first of three modules, we utilize the teachings of the YOGA SUTRAS and unpack the wisdom of Patanjali’s revered text, looking specifically at the nature of mind, the roots of our misperceptions, and the power of meditation to free us from automatic patterns of thinking and behaving that are no longer serving us. We also correlate this to modern findings in the field of neuroscience, and the clinically proven benefits mindfulness and meditation yields. With an emphasis on the moon practices (the “tha” part of Hatha Yoga), we will emphasize an approach that cultivates grounding, stability, strength, stillness, and self reflection. We focus on the practices of yoga postures (asana), breathwork (pranayama), meditation, and Yoga Nidra to unlock these qualities and provide the foundation for healing and preparation for the more subtle and advanced practices. All sessions are recorded in case any classes are missed.
This course can be taken alone or in conjunction with the Sun and Fire Tiers for a consecutive 9 month program that concludes in June of 2019. This option provides $250 of overall cost savings, inquire with me. Experience a rich and complete experience of yoga that honors the practice as a spiritual tradition made relevant to the modern day practitioner. To learn more visit my webpage here. This 11 week session is focused on yoga and the sacred. We will highlight the practices according to my personal learning and practice from well over a decade that are meant to open that interface with the mystery, that place where we feel in touch with that which is beyond the senses yet accessed uniquely through them. This is the heart of tantra yoga as a method that invokes our light – where we feel that presence of our sacred Selves – and the tools for grounding it into our everyday, becoming more embodied with, whole, and welcoming of this underlying reality. For me, it’s where the magic happens and why I continue to work through this path.
Exactly what are we going to focus on and how are we gonna do this? This will be a series that highlights the practices of mantra and chanting, the energetic practices of mudra and bandha, and of course, always, the sublime through meditation and yoga nidra. Many of you who have studied with me know these practices, but we will be emphasizing them instead of having them in the periphery, in a balanced way, to reclaim this potent heart of the practice and our. Even if you have not studied with me, but you’re ready to go there, please do!
